Laurel & Christian’s Wedding at Pontlands Park: Bespoke Stationery Design
I had the absolute pleasure of designing the wedding stationery for Laurel and Christian’s stunning celebration at Pontlands Park. From the rehearsal dinner the night before, to the beautiful ceremony and reception, every piece was carefully crafted to reflect their vision and style. Here’s a look at the bespoke design process and how it all came together!
Elegant Blue Tones & Classic Florals
For their wedding stationery, Laurel and Christian wanted something timeless yet elegant, so we settled on a colour palette of soft blue tones paired with a classic floral design. This theme ran across all the stationery elements, from invitations to place cards. The delicate florals added a romantic touch that perfectly complemented the venue and the overall décor. It was such a joy to see how these little details helped create a cohesive look for their wedding day.
Place Settings, Menus & More
Beyond the invitations, I also designed the place settings, menus, wedding signs, and order of service booklets. Each piece followed the same floral theme with soft blue accents, creating a seamless flow throughout the event. The place settings and menus were especially lovely, as they tied in beautifully with the table décor, adding a touch of sophistication to the reception. It’s always exciting to see how these small touches can elevate the entire dining experience for the couple and their guests!
London Landmarks: Custom Table Numbers
One of the most unique and personal aspects of Laurel and Christian’s wedding was their choice to name each table after a famous London landmark. To make this even more special, I designed bespoke table number cards featuring modern graphic illustrations of each landmark. This fun and meaningful detail brought a touch of the couple’s love for London into the reception and made the day even more personal for them.
Bringing it All Together
Designing the stationery for Laurel and Christian was a true joy, and I’m thrilled with how it all came together. From the classic floral motifs to the bespoke table numbers, every element reflected their style and created a memorable experience for their guests.
